Why use protective air filters?

All electric machines are equipped with a ventilation and cooling system. Ambient air is drawn in through an intake grille to cool the machine. Dust particles and, in particular, oil mist particles in industrial environments are drawn into the machine along with the ambient air via the intake grille. A filter in the intake grille captures all dust and mist particles so they cannot settle inside the machine, thereby preventing the risk of malfunctions and downtime.

Industrial machines require maintenance and regular replacement of filters in order to function properly and guarantee maximum productivity. For optimal operation, the intake filters must be replaced weekly. The intake grille must therefore be dismantled in order to place a new filter behind the grille. Lack of time and manpower does not always allow filter replacement to be carried out with the necessary regularity. The patented Protective Air Filter minimizes the time spent to replace these filters.

Protective Air Filter

The patented Protective Air Filter is applied externally so that no disassembly of the intake grille is required. Thanks to the magnetic holder, the filter can be placed directly on to the intake grille of the ventilation and cooling system. Once installed, the Protective Air Filter blocks air pollution such as oil mist and dust and ensures the normal passage of fresh and clean air into the machine, thereby protecting critical electronic components.

The replacement check is visual: when the protective filter is covered with contaminants, the filter must be replaced by simply rolling out a new, clean piece of filter. The magnetic filter holder is equipped with a filter roll containing 110 perforated filter sheets.

A new filter sheet can be replaced within a few seconds. For optimal filtration, it is recommended to use a new filter sheet weekly. Because the Protective Air Filter is equipped with 110 perforated sheets, a single filter roll only needs to be replaced after 2 years. In the magnetic filter holder, a new filter roll can be inserted each time.
