Why use screen filters?
Screen filters separate solids from liquids by allowing the liquid to flow over a perforated screen plate. The contamination that remains on the screen ends up in a waste or drainage bin and can be transported to the desired location by means of, for example, a conveyor screw. Screen filters can remove solid particles from 150 microns and larger.
Screen filters can filter continuously, are low-maintenance, and do not require replacement filters. Applications include water treatment in horticulture, waste recycling, sewage water, drinking water, the paper industry, the chemical and petrochemical industry, etc.
The AXO screen filters can be supplied as both static and vibrating units and with an integrated cleaning system. We also provide customer specific systems. If you would like personal advice or more information, please contact us. us.
Dewater solids via screw conveyors and (mobile) containers
Solids filtered out of liquids can often still contain residual water after filtration, as is also the case with screen filters. With dewatering drain containers and screw conveyors, the waste stream can be transported and processed as dry as possible.
Wet, sticky sludge, waste, and other solid materials can be transported via screw conveyors with a capacity of up to 100 m³/h. Horizontal or vertical movement is possible with incline angles from 30 to 90 degrees. Our shaftless screw conveyor prevents material build-up on the shaft, keeping maintenance costs to a minimum.
Our dewatering drain containers and screw conveyors can be custom-made! Would you like personal advice or more information? Please contact us.
